Joined the Navy in 1967. Active duty until 1977, then stayed in the Reserves until 1993 when I retired. Went to college at Boise State University where I got a degree in Accounting. Worked for Morrison-Knudsen Corp. for a number of years as a project accountant on various automotive plants, a prison, a nuclear power plant and various other construction projects. Met my wife in St. Louis, MO in 1993 and got married in 1994. Retired in 2010 and stayed in St Louis until 2015 when we finally moved to Robson Ranch Senior Retirement Community in Eloy, AZ.

School Story

What I remember most about my 4 years as a Badger is the great friends I made. I liked sports but with only average talent I didn't really excel at any one sport. I did run track for a couple years, and I was on the cross country team but I think I only won one race. What I enjoyed most was baseball and being on the pep squad as a mike boy. What a lot of fun that was! After school I joined the Navy and lost track of all my old friends, but I always remained a loyal Badger to the end.

Dear Janet,

Frank Kingman told me about Bob's passing about a few weeks ago. I was very sad to learn that he had lost his fight. My heart goes out to you & your family as I know how painful this must be for all of you. I was always genuinely happy to see him & I know he was genuinely happy to see me as we giggled & chatted between classes, in the cafeteria or at other school functions. He was a lovely man, a good friend through high school & I'm sad that we had lost touch through the years. I'm so thankful that we had an opportunity to see each other once again at our class reunion in 2017.
