Exciting News!
#1 The Tucson High Alumni T-Club is honoring our 1965 and 1966 state championship football teams at its annual luncheon on Saturday, April 13, 2024! Other teams will be recognized, and scholarships will be awarded to current students.
A highlight of the event will be this year's Hall of Fame induction of the following athletes:
Arnie Adler, Class of '66 Ron Curry, Class of '67
Leon Bryant, Class of '67 (deceased) Ron Shaw, Class of '66
Corky Cota-Robles, Class of '64 Jim Tolley, Class of '46 (deceased)
We walked the halls with five of these fine fellows!
Everyone welcome, especially the football players and their loved ones.

#2 No-Host TGIF Classmate Bo Lopez is arranging a no-host TGIF on Friday, April 12, the day before the luncheon. It will be at the Randolph Golf Complex, 600 S. Alvernon Way, from 4–7pm. You pay only for what you order. No gourmet meals available, but good burgers, wings, fries, veggies, etc. If you plan to attend this TGIF, PLEASE let Bo know by emailing him at: bolopez1@gmail.com

(2) * Badger Bricks Honoring All Veterans / Walkway of Honor
The Tucson High Badger Foundation wants to expand its Walkway of Honor to include engraved bricks for veterans from the school’s entire 117-year history, including the past 99 years at its current location on Sixth Street and Euclid Avenue.
Each brick costs $150, with the proceeds benefiting the foundation’s endowment fund.
Thanks to “some generous donors,” Strutz said, the foundation has some money available to subsidize the cost of a brick for families that might need assistance.
Anyone, living or dead, who attended the school and served in the armed forces is eligible for the Walkway of Honor. You don’t need to be a graduate of the school, and you don’t need to have served in the military during wartime.
The foundation hopes to dedicate the next round of bricks for veterans during a ceremony on or around Veterans Day in 2024.

Our 55-Year Reunion
Our 55-year reunion held October 21 and 22 was a blast! We did party like it was 1967 and reminisced about the good ol' days!
Huge thanks to Al "Bo" Lopez and Patti Quiroz Lopez for getting the ball rolling over a year ago to start organizing, putting together a terrific group of committee members, and overseeing all the planning.
A more detailed report will be posted soon.
