Judy Thorud Gengler died in Minnesota on April 16, 2023.

Judy did not attend Tucson High School all four years; she transfered to THS in her senior year.

Emily Roe Cobb, THS '67, writes:  My wonderful friend Judy Gengler passed away this morning, April 16, 2023.  She had been in hospice.  We had so many fun times during our 40 years knowing each other.  We were hippies in the 60s.  One day after we graduated we were off to Hollywood.  Judy was the person who changed my nickname to "Sam."  We lost touch for a while but when we hooked back up, everything was just like we had before.  I am sad.  I will miss her desperately, but I will continue on.  God bless her.
