Rachel Ochoa Yanez

August 17, 1949 ~ October 23, 2016

Homemaker and longtime Colorado Springs resident, Rachel Ochoa Yanez passed away Sunday, October 23.  Rachel was born on August 17, 1949 in Tucson, Arizona, to Jose Ramon Ochoa and Adelina Fimbres.  She is survived by her husband, Joe (also Tucson High School, Class of 1967); daughters, Adelina (Juvencio) and Samantha; son, Javier (Sarah); sister, Bertha F. Romero (Damian); and brother, Joe Ochoa.  Rachel had 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Hortencia F. Ochoa.

Services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2030 W. Colorado Avenue.  A Rosary will be held at  6:00 p.m. on November 2, and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on November 3.  Arrangements by Cappadona Funeral Home, 1020 E. Fillmore Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado  80907, 719-520-1817.
