September 9, 1949 ~ April 24, 2008

Devoted Father - Loving Son - Proud American - Honorable Army Veteran - Loyal UofA Wildcat Fan - Trusted Friend & Confidant - Respected Colleague

It is with a heavy heart that we share with you the passing of a dear colleague and friend, Michael McCalley.

Michael came to work for us nearly 27 years ago.  During this time we grew both professionally and in friendship.  Michael was an outstanding appraiser who loved his work and exemplified only the finest.  His passing is a huge loss to the appraisal community.

Michael will be buried in Iowa near his mother.  The family will hold a small, private memorial service in Michael's memory.  In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions of your choice are requested.  In loving memory, Alayne & Bruce Greenberg

When I think of Mike McCalley in high school, I think of jams.  Remember those?  Long swim trunks in Hawaiian print with a rope-like drawstring?  Patti Present reminded me that she and Mike were partners in the Senior Follies number "So Happy Together," and the pairs wore matching jams. I recalled that Mike's were the first pair I ever made.  Patti told me that Mike had spent a summer with his dad in California, and when he returned to Tucson, we all saw how tan he was and into the surfing scene.

Mike was always such a sweet guy with a good sense of humor.  Every time I saw him after high school, there he was with that cute grin on his face.  We miss you, Mike!
