Well I'll be, I had been looking for Danny for a long time I lost contact with him after graduation. He sure was a friendly guy. I knew his sister was I believe Cecilia Lizardi, about to be married to Rene Rodriguez (not associated with me) I'm not sure if they ever married though. Danny was quite a guy, he really brought out the best in me. We met in our sophmore year and became great friends. He encouraged me to join the Pep Club and so I did. The next best thing is that he set me up with a blind date, I didn't know her but I was told not to be too concerned all I knew is that she attended the Villa Corondelet (St Joseph's Academy, an all girls school) up in north Tucson it would be my first dance and date I ever had. If anyone remembers me you could tell I was a very timid and shy guy during my high schoool years.I was wondering how I would handle that situation. I father even purchased a beautifull corsage for her, he was excited for me, my son would finally meet a girl for the first time. Well I know I'm saying too much but it all worked so great, I'll always remember that dance and meeting Diane Boyed, I went on to meet her parents and her grandma they were great people they moved from New Jersy, we went on dating for a while but not quite sure how I stopped calling her, she was very attractive young lady and I surely thank Danny for those moments. I was so saddened that now he is gone, may he rest in peace.
