Philip Schoenfeld Klafter

September 10, 1949 ~ March 7, 2000

Philip Schoenfeld Klafter was born on September 10, 1949 and died on March 7, 2000.  He was predeceased by his father, Mark H. Klafter, and at the time of his death was survived by his mother, Virginia Schoenfeld Klafter, and his sister, Susan Klafter Simpson.

The Klafters were affiliated with Temple Emanu-el, and Philip attended religious school there as a child.  In the early 1960s, he was a member of Boy Scout Troop 26, then chartered by the temple.

Philip attended Tucson High for several years but spent 1964–1965 at the Allen Academy, an honor military school in Bryan, Texas.
