Jeannette Eloise "Cookie" Carrillo

March 9, 1949 ~ October 1, 2015

Samantha* (Cookie) Carrillo, born March 9, 1949, became an Angel on October 1, 2015.  Preceded in death by her parents Rupert and Rachel Carrillo and nephew Sean M. Carrillo.  Survived by brothers Art and Gene and sister Freddie Ann Carrillo; niece Shannon Carrillo; great-nephews Marquez and Michael Rawls; aunts Gaggi (Becky) Arino and Pauline Navarro; her partner of 24 years Diana Vidisky; and Elizabeth Ann, her dog.  Retired from the U.S. Post Office.  Cookie loved to dance, cruise, play the slots, and cheer for the U of A.  She was an avid Animal Rights Activist.  Arrangements by Avenidas Cremation and Burial.

In the fall of 1970, Jeannette Carrillo was one of the first two meter maids in Tucson!
