Robert Frank Lusch

January 21, 1949 ~ February 23, 2017

Robert Frank Lusch, 68, of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on February 23, 2017, at Kanmar Place Hospice in Tucson after a courageous battle against bladder cancer.  He was born on January 21, 1949, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, to Frank and Katharina Lusch.

After graduating from Tucson High in 1967, Bob completed bachelor and master's degrees in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and then a Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.  His fields of study were Marketing, Educational Psychology, and Accounting. 

Bob's career as a professor took place at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and the University of Arizona where he last worked as Managing Director of the Department of Marketing.  He was also the author of an extensive number of scholarly articles.  

Bob was married to the former Virginia Newell, and they had three children:  Stephen, Heather, and Mark.  He is also survived by his sister, Marion Lusch Bachrach, also a graduate of the Tucson High Class of 1967.

Visitation and rosary:  Thursday, March 2, 2017, from 6–8pm at Adair Funeral Home, Dodge Chapel.  Funeral Mass:  Friday, March 3, at 10am, Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.  Burial:  Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery.
