From THS '67 Classmate David Trejo:
"My old friend, I was so saddened to hear of your passing.  My only regret is that we didn't have at least one more time to visit before you moved on in the circle of life.
To the Vasquez family, please accept my deepest sympathies and condolences; he was a very good man.  Albert and I spent our junior and high school days together growing up at La Reforma. We both served overseas at different times and in different services, but we always remained friends. I left Tucson in 1967 enlisting and staying in the Air Force for 30 years. I would visit Tucson once every three or four years and saw Albert maybe three times during the last 44 years. I remember sitting with him at Sams and having a few beers, reminiscing about our youth and remembering old friends that had gone on before us. We lost many friends in Viet Nam, some there and others after they came home. I will never forget my old friend; even though we were no longer as close as we once were, the friendships you make as a young boy stay with you forever. Adiós, my old friend.  May our paths cross again in the future."
