Armida L. Varela

Armida L. Varela, age 64, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2012, after a valiant battle with cancer.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Santos and Maria Varela.  She is survived by all her loving family.  She worked for Sahuarita Unified School District and Pima County Superintendent of Schools for 30 years.  Armida was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.  Special thanks for all the love and care given to Armida by Pat, Leticia, and Annette.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary (North Chapel), 204 S. Stone Avenue, with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Monday, October 1, 2012, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral.  Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers.  Please send donations to Carondelet Hospice Care in memory of Armida Varela.
